Kaitier LLC
Third-party providers Kaitier engages directly, and integration providers you may enable, with scope and data-category detail.

Kaitier uses third-party providers to operate the Service, deliver optional features, and support integrations you choose to enable.
In data-protection law, "subprocessor" has a specific meaning: a provider that processes personal data on Kaitier's behalf under Kaitier's instructions. Some financial, email, and OAuth providers listed here may also process information under their own terms or in a different legal role when you connect them directly.
For broader context, see our Privacy Policy. Production deployment documentation currently describes self-hosted application infrastructure operated by Kaitier; that first-party hosting is not listed here as a third-party subprocessor.
The providers below are engaged by Kaitier to process data on Kaitier's behalf for the described scope. Kaitier does not list a provider here merely because its software appears in the codebase or because another vendor uses that provider's infrastructure.
| Provider | Service / purpose | Data categories | Processing / hosting | Scope | More information |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Turnstile bot verification | IP address, browser/device signals, challenge metadata on protected forms | Processed per Cloudflare's infrastructure and terms (global network possible) | Signup and other Turnstile-protected public forms when enabled | Provider information |
| Resend, Inc. | Transactional and inbound email delivery | Email addresses, message content, attachments for password reset, team invites, feedback, contact messages, and optional inbound receipt forwarding when configured | Processed per Resend's terms and selected configuration | When Kaitier sends or receives email through Resend | Provider information |
| OpenAI, L.L.C. | Generative AI API | Ask Kaitier questions, short chat history, product-help context, books/financial snapshot, and up to ~14,000 characters of extracted bank-statement PDF text on optional fallback parsing | Processed per OpenAI API terms and account configuration | Only when Ask Kaitier or AI bank-statement assist is enabled and an API key is configured | Provider information |
| Stripe, Inc. | Kaitier subscription billing | Billing name, email, subscription/payment metadata processed through Stripe Checkout; Kaitier does not store full payment-card numbers | Processed per Stripe's terms and account configuration | When you purchase or manage a paid Kaitier plan | Provider information |
| Render Services, Inc. | Application hosting (staging / non-production) | Application database, uploaded files, logs, and account data present in that environment | Hosting region selected in Render (commonly United States); support and subprocessors may use other locations per Render's terms | Only for Kaitier staging or other non-production environments operated on Render — not the current self-hosted production architecture described in deployment documentation | Provider information |
These providers are activated only when you choose to connect an integration or complete a provider-hosted authorization flow.
The provider may process information under its own privacy notice and terms. Disconnecting stops future Kaitier access through that integration, subject to provider and Kaitier retention rules. Previously imported records may remain in your Kaitier account according to our Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
Disconnecting does not delete your provider account or all historical records already stored in Kaitier.
| Provider | Service | Data categories | When used | More information |

| Microsoft Corporation | Outlook connection (OAuth) | Mailbox metadata, message content, and attachments needed to detect and import receipts when you connect Outlook | Only after you authorize Outlook access in Kaitier | Provider information |
| Plaid Inc. | Bank and card connectivity (Plaid Link) | Institution name, account identifiers, balances, and transaction history authorized through Plaid Link | Only after you connect a financial institution in Kaitier | Provider information |
| Stripe, Inc. | Sales Sync / Stripe Connect (user's Stripe account) | OAuth tokens and sales/charge/payout data from the Stripe account you connect | Only after you connect your own Stripe account for Sales Sync or related bookkeeping imports | Provider information |

Not every customer uses every provider. Examples of feature-specific processing include:
A selected hosting or account region does not necessarily mean all support, security, monitoring, or provider subprocessors remain exclusively in that region.
Unless a specific provider entry states a verified hosting or processing region, Kaitier does not claim that all Service processing is limited to a single country or region.
Cross-border transfer mechanisms, Data Processing Agreements, and Standard Contractual Clauses must be verified with counsel and each vendor before making compliance claims.
Kaitier updates this page when providers, roles, or scopes change.
Material additions may also require updates to the Privacy Policy and other legal documents. Kaitier does not currently operate an automated email subscription for subprocessor changes; review the dated page periodically. A formal notice workflow may be added before public beta if required by counsel and the Terms.
Privacy questions or concerns about a listed provider may be sent to privacy@kaitier.com. If you object to a new subprocessor that Kaitier requires to provide the Service, contact us and we will review your concern. Kaitier may be unable to provide certain features without a necessary provider.
